Club man fair enough but simply not good enough to polish Trevor's boots properly.

In terms of quality, no.
In terms of passion, yes.
He’s helped dig us out of a few holes over the years and must be very influential on the training pitch.

His cruyff turn by the corner flag first half was superb

Ok an era when players don’t give a fuck he stands out. Go back 25 years and beyond his attitude would have been standard.

Tremendous tonight - pure amount of club appearances puts him in club legend status.

Just because Noble isn’t Modric class doesn’t mean he lacks quality.
Fantastic performance today.

Bonds and Brooking represent a very high bar.
Noble's a good player who matches them for the love of the club.
I'd leave it at that.

Yep, good player - always has been.
I've never understood the hostility towards him in some quarters.
The main thing the guy has always lacked is pace, and he is slowing down more now that he's approaching 33. But a fine all round midfielder and we saw his worth today. Not just his goals, but the way he led the side from deep positions and kept the tempo higher than usual.
Pulled the strings alongside Declan in midfield today. But I thought Oggy shaded it as MoM.

Not as good as old fordstar the Doris punching cabbie.
However when the chips have been down no one in the last twenty years has rolled up his sleeves and got stuck in like noble.
Noble has been like a world war one corporal leading his men into battle while the morons have sat with their Russian hats on in the boxes.

Whenever West ham do well it is never surprising that he never looks out of place and is pulling the strings .
I wanted him gone 4 years ago and was disappointed he got a new contract Humble pie eaten . I always felt when West ham played badly he got lost and that he was too slow but it is difficult to look brilliant (Scott Parker) when you are standing in a sinking ship.

The hostility comes from the people who resent professionals.

Like others have said, not up with Bonds and especially not Brooking. But a great servant to the club and Mr Reliable.

Good player and has served West Ham well, but for the last two and a half seasons has been good 1 out of 4 games.
I hope that Moyes gives him a role on the coaching side.
